15 Tips to Stay Young and Healthy

All of us want to stay young and we do all kinds of things to achieve this. Here are some really simple ways to stay young without spending a dime.

1.) Think young: Age is just a frame of mind. You are only as old as you think you are. So think that you are young. Stop worrying about growing old and think that you are growing young instead.

2.) Strech Your Body: Stretching can do miracles for your body. It helps in increasing blood flow to vital organs. Just make sure you don’t hurt yourself doing it. Start with light stretching and slowly increase the pace.

3.) Go for a walk: Morning walks do miracles to your body. So take a walk on a road that is less polluted and has lots of trees. Garden is the best place to walk early in the mornings.

4.) Keep a Pet: We all love it when someone loves us and what better than that faithful dog. Dogs can keep you relaxed and busy too. Take them for walks, play with them, pet them and you will feel great.

5.) Take to the cycle: You need not go for professional road bikes but any regular bicycle (indoor or outdoor) should do. How about riding to the garden in your bike and then walking?

6.) Join a swimming class: Swimming is a great exercise and can really liven up your mood. So if you don’t know how to swin, it’s time to learn

7.) Stay active: Have an active lifestyle. Make sure to go out often, meet friends and socialize.

8.) Use your expertise: Use your expertise to help others. Write a book, open a website. Offer your advice to others who need it. This way you will develop new friends and even find new opportunities!

9.) Learn Yoga: There are many yoga poses specifically for elders. Poses like balasana, pranayanama are really helpful in staying healthy. Meditation is another activity you can try doing.

10.) Stop worrying: Stop worrying by staying in the present moment and thinking less about the future. The less your worry, the better your body will work in discarding the old cells and regenerating new ones keeping you young and healthy.

11.) Stop Using Artificial Cosmetics: Cosmetics can help you look young for the moment but they are cause early aging. This is because the body has to work hard to remove these toxins from the delicate facial skin. Try using natural cosmetics instead. Wash your face with milk, use natural mud packs, do lemon juice based cleansing. You will be amazed at the results.

12.) Learn to Sleep Well: Maintain a sleep schedule and follow it everyday so your body automatically goes to sleep mode at the same time. This way, you will sleep better and we all know that the body discards old cells and creates new ones when we are asleep. If possible, take a short nap during the day.

13. Laugh: Watch a comedy, read a funny book, do laughter yoga or talk to someone who makes you laugh. Laughter is a great way to exercise your inner body. The more you laugh, the younger you start looking.

14.) Dance: Dance alone or dance with your friends. Just put on your favorite music and dance your heart out. Dance till you start sweating and feel tied. This is one of the best forms of exercise.

15.) Meditate: Last but not the least, learn to meditate. Even better, learn how to activate the seven chakras in your body. This is the best way to make your body stronger and look younger.
